Construction on Meetinghouse Road is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 24. To ensure the safety of the work crew, Main Street will be closed to through traffic between School Road and Meetinghouse Road.
Drivers traveling to East Orleans should use the Tonset Road detour. Signage will be posted, and personnel will be on site to assist with navigation. Vehicles traveling from East Orleans via Main Street should utilize Great Oak Road.
Additional signage will be placed at the intersections of Tonset Road and Main Street, as well as Monument Road and School Road, to direct through traffic to Tonset Road for access to East Orleans.
The work is scheduled to occur from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM over a two-day period, with an anticipated completion by end of day on Tuesday, March 25. Please note East Orleans businesses remain open.
