The Main Street crew is ahead of schedule and will complete the connection work between School Road and Meetinghouse Road on Thursday, February 27. This work will take place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is expected to last one day.
The Main Street detour will be in effect from School Road to Great Oak Road. Vehicle through traffic will be redirected to Tonset Road for access to East Orleans. Additional signage is planned for the intersections of Tonset Road and Main Street, as well as Monument Road and School Road, to advise that through traffic should use Tonset Road for access to East Orleans. East Orleans Businesses remain open.
