Shellfishing Red Tide Closure: Effective sunrise 5/9/25
The entirety of the Namequoit River (SC63) in Pleasant Bay, including Meetinghouse Pond, Lonnie’s Pond, and Arey’s Pond remains CLOSED to shellfishing due to Red Tide.
The remainder of Pleasant Bay excluding (SC63) will re-open to shellfishing at sunrise 5/9/25.
The entirety of Nauset Estuary remains CLOSED to shellfishing due to Red Tide.
