Independence Day fireworks will be visible from Rock Harbor and Skaket Beach starting at dusk (approximately 9p) on Tuesday, July 2nd. The rain date is Saturday, July 6th.
During the afternoon of the 2nd, Rock Harbor Road will become one way from Main Street to the rotary until just before the fireworks begin, after which Rock Harbor Road will be closed to vehicle traffic between Harbor Hill Road and Bridge Road.
Skaket Beach Road will be closed in stages as the parking fills up from the beach lot to Captain Linnell Road and beyond. Detours will be marked and details officers will be on the street for guidance!
